Bullying and Online Safety

Bullying can take lots of different forms, and sometimes people do not realise that what is happening to them is considered bullying. Remember nobody has the right to bully or hurt, and lots of people are around to help.

Bullying can happen anywhere and at any time, including at school, home or even online.

It can include name calling, being teased, pushed, having things stolen from you, rumours being spread, being left out, being physically hurt such as punched or kicked, being threatened or intimidated, and even through text messaging or online.

Cyber bullying means to use the internet, email, online games, or via text message to intimidated, threaten, or upset someone else. These networks are designed to bring people together but it can also be abused to hurt other people.
