Dudley’s Model of Practice
Think Family
The ‘Think Family’ approach focuses on all aspects of adversity across the continuum of need.
Examples could be the diagnosis of serious illness, mental health, or substance misuse issues which may impact on parenting or caring.
Trauma Informed
A trauma-informed approach focuses on all aspects of adversity across the continuum of need.
Examples of trauma could be the diagnosis of serious illness, poverty, death and loss to abuse and neglect.
Restorative Practice
A Restorative Practice’ approach can be broadly applied across the partnership of agencies working with children, families, and communities.
Using restorative principles and behaviours with our colleagues and partners, as well as children and families, enables us to develop positive working relationships.
Learning From Reviews
