The West Midlands Violence Reduction Partnership (VRP) are providing free awareness training which aims to develop and improve our understanding of the threat from County Lines and Criminal Exploitation.
All sessions are free of charge to attend and will be delivered via Microsoft Teams. The timetable below has links to the Eventbrite booking page for each event, where tickets can be booked. This session explains the work of Pace and how Pace’s Relational Safeguarding Model works in alignment with the Contextual Safeguarding Approach. Dr Lloyd will also present her research findings on social workers’ understanding of sexually exploited girls as agents; focusing on the importance of challenging the victim blaming of young people and the importance of being trauma informed when working with families affected by child exploitation.
